Right Water Pool Service (Mike Hawkins) has taken care of my elderly mother's pool for several years. We have been 100% satisfied..her pool has never looked better. Mike has also gone above and beyond to help us out during the winter months when we unable to reset the pump settings during the freezing weather. He personally went out and took care of this for us!

Benefits of working with us:

Will your pool be ready when you need it? Can you count on your pool guy to show up on time and keep your water clean and balanced? Are they paying attention to chemistry and circulation, or just going through the motions?

With us, there’s no guessing—just crystal-clear water and reliable service, every time.

The Cost of Hiring the Wrong Pool Service

Choosing the wrong pool company can cost you more than just money—it can cost you peace of mind. Here’s what can happen when you settle for subpar service:

  • Surprise Charges & Hidden Fees – Many companies lure you in with low prices but nickel-and-dime you for essential chemicals, shock treatments, and phosphate removals. What seems affordable upfront can quickly become a costly nightmare.
  • Unreliable Service & No-Shows – Nothing’s worse than planning a pool day only to find murky water because your pool guy didn’t show. Inconsistent service leads to algae growth, chemical imbalances, and more headaches for you.
  • Lack of Communication – Ever wonder if your pool was even serviced? Many companies don’t send updates, leaving you in the dark about your water quality and maintenance.
  • Added Maintenance Costs – Poor water chemistry and neglected equipment lead to costly repairs—failing pumps, corroded filters, and damaged pool surfaces. Cutting corners today means expensive fixes later.
  • More Work for You – Instead of relaxing, you’ll be stuck troubleshooting water issues, scrubbing walls, and trying to figure out what went wrong. A pool should be a place to unwind, not another chore on your list.

With Right Water Pools, there are no surprises, no stress, and no wasted time—just crystal-clear water and reliable service you can trust.

frequently asked question

  • Can I swim in the pool on the day that it is treated?

We will let you know if you can’t swim.  But, as a rule of thumb, don’t enter the pool until 30 minutes have passed since we visited.  (Everyone gets a text when we are on the way and when we leave.) Chemistry will need a little time to circulate and dissipate like for example muriatic acid.  If we shock the pool and the chlorine will be high for several hours, we will tell you.  Don’t enter the pool if it is cloudy.

  • What other charges might I have?

If there are extra charges, they will be small parts under $100.  Extra chemistry like calcium or clarifier might be added to the bill.  Filter cleans are extra.  Anytime we put on o-orings we will add $30 to the bill as a service charge.  We will tell you when that happens.  You get a report for each visit that will alert you of any extra charges. If it’s over $100 then we will contact you first.  We charge a little extra for clarifier and also for weed herbicide.  If your pool equipment pad is infested with weeds, we will be proactive to prevent fires and infestations by correcting the situation with pesticides and herbicides so that you won’t have to.

  • What about my filter?

Filter cleans are extra.  We charge $150 to $175 for those.  If it is a difficult filter or repairs need to be done there might be a change and we will go to an hourly rate.  You may need new grids or other parts and/or elements during this service.  We will let you know what that will be.  But, keep in mind if we take apart your filter, it’s best to be prepared and replace whatever is needed during that service call.  Cartridge filters need to be cleaned two or more times a year.  DE filter needs to be serviced 1 or more times per year.
